House of Parlor Helsinki Sauna

The Helsinki interprets the traditional Finnish sauna as a refined architectural room. Honey-toned aspen clads the walls and ceiling, while tiered L-shaped benches create multiple elevations for experiencing the heat. A broad glass entrance connects the sauna visually to the surrounding spa without compromising its sense of enclosure.

At the heart of the room, a stone-filled electric heater produces the high-temperature environment associated with traditional sauna bathing. Water can be ladled over the heated stones to introduce brief waves of humidity, while concealed lighting beneath the benches gives the interior a warm, composed glow.
